I have been working within the kitchen and bathroom design industry for over 8 years. My love for Art & Design began at a very young age whereby, I showed a natural love for drawing. A family trait inherited from my great-grand father who once produced portrait paintings for the royal family. I studied Art & Design at A level and represented the county in various fine arts forums. I left school and pursued a career in nursing another love and art. Throughout my nursing career the arts have played an integral role in terms of the use of therapy and the art of science versus the art of knowing.
I currently work part-time as a Dementia Nurse Specialist as well as working within the family business. Dementia Care is a special area to work within and one very close to my heart – often requiring acute listening skills, having the ability to see the whole person and offering a creative solution. Similarly, with such transferable skills we will listen to our client, understand ones likes / dislikes consider functionality alongside design aspects and offer a creative design and solution.
Kitchen Kind will offer help and support during the initial phase of planning the kitchen design. Through utilising the ‘Creative Hub’ feature within the showroom, you will be able to explore colour options, textures, material options and a lot more to enable your creative side to ignite your design options. I aim to be there alongside offering ideas and suggestions. We hope you will feel at ease in the showroom and we will have plenty of tea and coffee on hand.![]()
