Our story
Our story begins ‘down under’. Husband and wife team working in Sydney, NSW, Australia. John an experienced carpenter working for a well-known global kitchen and worktop
company and Rebecca as an Area Nurse Unit Manager. It is in Australia where we gained valued experience in both the kitchen and management world and made solid
foundations to begin our voyage into the business world.
2005 – 2011
Once settled in the UK we set up a kitchen company franchise under a well-known kitchen brand company name. We started out small, working from a barn in Somerset whilst
trying to maintain a good work life balance with bringing up a small family. In 2013 we opened a showroom and we also introduced Joseph into the world.
2011 – 2018
We enjoyed a successful 7- year period working in the kitchen company world and gained so much experience with a wonderful team alongside us. We were able to provide a
quality service with over 1000 installs to customers all over Yeovil, Taunton, Sherborne & surrounding areas. A huge thankyou for all the support and hard work over the years

In 2018, we made the jump! Our ‘family run’ spirit was so bright we embarked on our own journey to become an independent company. This would ensure our personality and
care would shine throughout.
2018 – 2019
Our company name is important; Kitchen Kind – so often the feedback from our customers would mention the quality workmanship, customer care and the attention to detail,
all adding value to the customer experience. John and I believe that running a good business is having a wonderful product, a product you believe in and delivering a service that
has a point of difference. A service that is kind, ensuring your kitchen transformation experience is memorable.
